Accessibility Policy
The Water Gap Singers is committed to providing equal access and a welcoming environment for all people, including individuals with disabilities. As a public accommodation, we adhere to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD), which prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability. We strive to ensure our programs, services, and facilities are accessible to everyone.
All programs, services, and events offered by the Water Gap Singers are available to individuals with disabilities. We will make reasonable modifications to our policies and procedures to ensure equal opportunity for participation, unless doing so would fundamentally alter the nature of the program or cause an undue hardship.
We will provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services to ensure effective communication for individuals with disabilities. This may include compatible seating, large print materials and listening devices upon request and with reasonable notice.
We are committed to making our physical facilities accessible and will work to remove architectural barriers where it is readily achievable to do so.
Requests for accommodations can be made through the Contact Us feature on the website watergapsingers.org or by sending a message to the ADA Coordinator, Christine Duffy, at christine.duffy7@gmail.com. Requests should be submitted in advance to allow time for accommodation. Grievances should be directed to the ADA Coordinator above, who will document, investigate, and provide a written response to the complaint.
